Electronic Writing

I think that the use of electronic sources is sparking a lot of interest in classrooms because it is becoming so commonly accepted and more and more students are familiar with how to use it. I agree with the fact that students will work harder and put more thought into what they are writing and analyzing because others are reading their work. I think that the only way texting and short hand is helping students is in note taking. Students are able to abbreviate easily and thoughtlessly and focus more on the subject matter. Electronic sources are helping with other things such as being able to type proficiently as well. Even children are learning how to type due to online chat. Its a helpful skill to have.
